Job Description

Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting for an exciting long-term opportunity with a competitive wage and amazing benefits after 3 months if hired on. We are looking for 4 General Labourers and Machine Operators who have experience in an industrial/automated machinery manufacturing environment. Responsibilities

  • Loading paper and plastic products into a tube winding press machine
  • Unloading finished plastic rolls of products off of machines and onto skids
  • Moving products throughout press areas and lines
  • Material handling and maneuvering of finished products
  • Finishing, taping, and cutting plastic products
  • Perform job in a safe manner at all times
  • Operation of grinder (scrap material) in a safe manner
  • Prepare work area for the incoming shift

Skills for Success

  • Ability to work as a team player
  • Experience in industrial/automated work environment
  • Experience and training in plastics extrusion preferred
  • High school Diploma
  • A mix of sitting, standing and walking around a large production facility
  • Able to lift heavy loads
  • Able to work in hot temperatures
  • Following all safety procedures
  • Wearing all mandatory Personal Protective Equipment
  • Follow any requests made by Shift Leader

Schedule

  • 12 hour continental shifts (alternating: day/night) 2 weeks or 7:00am – 7:00pm / 2 weeks of 7:00pm – 7:00am
  • Guaranteed 4 hours of overtime every other week

Salary

  • $21/hr Day Shift
  • $21.75/hr Night Shift Premium
