Full-Time Manager (1 Position)
Job Description
Role:
- Manage and promote the ND Outfitters Store (both the physical and online store)
- Operate the business as if it were your own
- Report to the ND Board of Directors
Responsibilities:
- Promote a positive and inviting customer service experience at all levels – client, suppliers and school staff and administration
- Cost effectively manage inventory levels at all times (physical inventor to be done twice per year)
- Maintain up to date inventory levels in the POS System
- Maintain an appealing and sales promoting store presence (physical and online)
- Purchasing of all inventory
- Research and introduce creative spirit wear items
- Maintain up to date records in the Sage Accounting system
- Ensure timely bank deposits
- Ensure that efficient and effective administrative systems are maintained for all business matters
- Ensure timely responses for all product requests/ quotes
- Effectively manage Account Receivables and Accounts Payables
- Manage and maintain a positive cashflow
- Follow all Heal and Safety Guidelines
- Attendance to Monthly ND Family Meetings Mandatory with Financial Review and Reporting
- Maintain social media, Facebook and Instagram
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Some retail experience
- Knowledge of some accounting practices like Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Cash, Sales, Inventory
- Business related knowledge
- High School Diploma. College Diploma or higher preferred

Additional Notes
- The store will operate based on the School Calendar, closed on all holidays and PA Days
- Performance Review: In first year, after 3 months and 6 months
- Snow Days: If a snow day is declared the ND Outfitters Store will remain closed, no pay will be issued for that day
- Summer: Layoff will occur as of last day of each school year and an ROE issued for EI
- Attendance: Attendance is Mandatory. Arrange alternate coverage for scheduled absences
- Sick Days: You will not be paid for sick days. Best efforts to arrange alrternate coverage is expected. Otherwise, the store will remain closed
- Vacation: to be scheduled during the summer months or school breaks, vacation pay will be calculated at a rate of 4%
- A business cell phone and laptop will be provided
- Travel expenses will be reimbursed with an approved expense report
