Job Description

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Material Analyst will be responsible for inventory control, finished good cycle counts and coordinating and controlling P.O’s for inventory and purchasing.

Responsibilities
• Control, coordinate and develop the internal supply chain
• Coordinate production instruction Min/Max, KanBan’s
• Coordinate/organize WIP locations
• Provide continuous improvement actions related to supply chain processes
• Control and coordinate all internal transfer and receiving data entry
• Inventory control analysis for all WIP, finished good cycle counts, variance analysis and problem resolution
• Physical inventory – preparation, counting/auditing counts, variance analysis
• Coordinate and control P.O’s for inventory and purchasing
• Other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager

Skill/Effort Requirements
• High School diploma
• Completion of post-secondary schooling in Materials Management is an asset
• 1 year of experience in inventory/ production control, purchasing or scheduling
• Experience in the automotive sector an asset
• Experience in DAX
• Proficient in the use of core MRP and inventory control functions within DAX
• Planning and organizational skills
