Part-Time Office Assistant & Shipping (1 Position)
Job Description
Established local family-owned company (Assistive Technology & Workplace Ergonomics) looking for a individual to join our small team to assist in day-to-day office/accounting/shipping operations.
Available immediately. Part-time hours: 20-25 per week (8:00 – 12:00 or 11:30 – 3:30) – For the right individual this could lead to a full-time position that includes inside sales/eCommerce.
Job description
- Shipping/packaging experience – UPS WorldShip experience an asset
- Order fulfillment
- Accounting program (Sage 50 / QuickBooks)
- Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
- eCommerce experience
- Office procedure experience
- Customer service/retail experience
Qualifications:
- English (French a bonus)
- GED, College
- Attention to detail
- Quick learner
- Able to work as a team as well as on their own
- Ability to problem solve
- Efficient with their time
- Good communicator
- Willing to help where needed
- Microsoft office 365 efficiency
- Police clearance certificate required after approved – 100% reimbursement
