Full-Time Order Picker
Job Description
Fulltime, temporary-to-permanent position in St. Catharines for $18/hour. Mondays to Fridays, day shifts.
We are looking for a reliable, hard-worker who enjoys working in shipping as an Order Picker. The company sells steel products. This position starts as soon as possible.
Job Responsibilities
- Order picking in the mornings
- Transitioning to shipping in the afternoons
- Pushing a cart through isles scanning parts and counting them on a sample scale
- Bagging/boxing parts for the shipping department
- Reading shipping labels
- Gathering orders for shipping
- Sorting materials and orders
- Various other shipping duties
Job Requirements
- Must have steel toed shoes/boots
- Must have the ability to lift 50 lbs., but typically 25 to 35lb range.
- Must be able to perform repetitive movements and stand for long periods.
- Must be able to work on a fast paced environment
- This position starts ASAP so candidates must be able to start immediately
Shifts: Mondays to Fridays, 8:30am to 5pm
Wage: $18/hour
