Part-Time Personal Support Worker (1 Position)
Job Description
Job Gym is currently assisting a Private Employer who is in need of a male PSW, as client is a male and would feel most comfortable with the same gender. You will be working within an adult family home.
COVID-19 considerations: This is a private home with strict guidelines for use of sanitizing products available 24/7. Supply of gloves, disinfectants and masks as needed. There have been no covid diagnosis or issues since the beginning of the pandemic within the home.
Job duties:
- Personal Care as client has a brain injury and is reliant on a wheelchair for mobility
- Walking with client and client’s dog
- When possible to go out for coffee
- Attend physiotherapy appointments
- Other structured activities within the program
- Light Meal Prep as needed
- Follow Program Activities
Additional Requirements:
- PSW Certification, or Near Completion
- Police Vulnerable Security Check
- Driver’s License in good standing
- First Aid Certificate
- Must be available for Shift Work & Weekends/fair rotating basis
Part-time hours: 20 hours per week
Expected start date: Immediate
Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Permanent
Salary: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
