Skrtich Living is a property management company that oversees just over 300 rental units. Skrtich Living offers student housing, other shared living houses, standard apartments, luxury apartments and commercial leasing spaces. We are currently seeking a Property Administrator to assist in the operations of our property management company.

Leasing:

  • Respond to calls/emails regarding rentals.
  • Conduct tours/showings of rentals.
  • List and advertise rentals available.
  • Research rental market. Keep up to date on going rates, trends and consumer demands.
  • Provide prospective tenants with rental applications.
  • Process rental applications and prepare lease agreements.
  • Conduct reference checks on applicants.
  • Enforce all provisions of the lease.

Tenant Relations:

  • Respond to all tenant complaints and concerns.
  • Be a mediator in roommate disputes (student housing).
  • Issue rent receipts.
  • Follow up with tenants in regards to maintenance requests and other work orders.
  • Keep tenants up to date on any changes.

Administrative Duties:

  • Coordinate all repair/maintenance requests.
  • Follow up with maintenance to ensure completion of work orders.
  • Inspect properties, rental units and grounds as required.
  • Ensure all spread sheets are kept up to date (rent rolls, move-in/out journals, vehicle information etc).
  • Issue Landlord & Tenant Board forms as required to tenants (non-payment of rent, rent increase notices etc).
  • File for Tribunal hearings as required and attend said hearings.
  • Follow and enforce all aspects of the Landlord & Tenant Board and Tenancy Act.
  • Follow and enforce all orders from Tribunals Ontario (courts).
  • Assist with commercial leasing aspects of the business.
  • Assist with construction planning and development aspects of the business.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Starting wage will be $17-$18 per hour depending on experience. Benefits will be offered after six months of employment. A salary review will occur after six months of employment.

Typical working hours will be between Monday to Saturday 8:30AM-5:30PM.

Some evening and Sunday shifts will be required time to time.
