Job Description
Job Title: Part-Time Experienced Residential Cleaner
Description:
CleanThumb Niagara is a local cleaning business in the Niagara region operating from Grimsby to Fort Erie. We are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic, reliable, professional, experienced and enjoys creating clean and functional spaces for our residential clients as much as we do!
Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as making beds, washing and folding laundry
- Tidying, organizing and staging home
- Washing and putting away dishes
- Taking out garbage and recycling
- Cleaning windows, baseboards, doors and frames, walls, ceiling fans, light fixtures and high-touch surfaces
- Cleaning interior and exterior cupboards and appliances
- Cleaning and dusting furniture, surfaces and personal items
- Cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, bedrooms, laundry rooms, etc
- Deep cleaning, Airbnb cleaning, post-renovation cleaning, move in-move out cleaning
- Organize and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment
- Follow established cleaning procedures and guidelines (will provide our ‘Cleaning Guide’ including training)
- Adhere to safety protocols and use appropriate protective equipment
Qualifications
- Must obtain a Criminal Background Check before hiring and start date
- Must sign and hand in our subcontracting agreement upon hiring and before start date
- Must have a valid drivers license and operating vehicle to travel from job to job
- Must have a functioning phone with data to communicate with management, receive your schedule/job descriptions through our app, and clock in and out of jobs on site
- Previous experience in house cleaning is required
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Good time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively and efficiently
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients in a professional manner
