ABOUT OUR OPPORTUNITIES
We are hiring Retail Associates across Niagara Region! We are currently recruiting for our Welland, Beamsville, Niagara Falls and Port Colborne locations. These positions are 25 – 30 hours per week, with potentially more hours available for team members who are willing to work at multiple locations. We are looking for candidates with day time and weekend availability. Due to business needs and required shifts, these roles will not be suitable for students.
Team members in these roles will be responsible for the following:
- Greeting and assisting customers to select suitable products based on their needs
- Providing product information and price checks
- Operating POS system, to process purchases and payments
- Arranging merchandise and keeping shelves filled
- Packing, unpacking and price/security tagging merchandise received
- Searching the stockroom for merchandise as needed
- Assisting with inventory management, including manually entering stock in POS system
- Maintaining cleanliness of storeroom and staff areas
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Availability to work daytime and weekend hours
- Experience interacting effectively with the public; specific retail experience is an asset
- Ability to multi-task
- Physically fit to perform tasks – long periods of standing, lifting, bending
- Willingness to learn and use electronic POS system (user friendly system)
- Comfortable casual business attire
