Express Employment Professionals is seeking a candidate to support the Operations of our client’s Sales team, which will involve logistics planning, inventory control, and sales administration. The candidate will be the bridge between the sales team and the delivery drivers and yard crew.

Duties Include:

• Arrange logistics for delivering products.
• Communicate logistics plans with delivery drivers for them to execute.
• Provide administration support for the outside salesperson and 4-5 sales team members.
• Provide inventory support for the Purchasing Agent.
• Assist any walk-in customers, answer questions, provide support.
• Facilitate orders, schedule management, organizing documentation.
• 80% of daily tasks will be within administration and logistics support, and 20% of daily tasks will be assisting with counter sales/walk in clients/repeat customer business.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of relevant experience within trucking, dispatch, or construction industry
• Financial and analytical experience
• Intermediate computer skills, understanding of order processes, and documentation within databases.
• Demonstrated problem solving skills
• Capacity to work collaboratively and drive initiatives in a cross-functional environment, as well as outstanding interpersonal skills
• Keen knowledge and understanding of business trends, counts, online marketing platforms.
