Full-Time Social Media Co-Ordinator (1 Position)
Job Description
The Social Media coordinator will be the voice of NNP on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIN – creating online imagery that is representative of the brand.
Specifically:
- Daily content on all social outlets – posts, stories, tweets
- Respond to messages and comments
- Create a marketing strategy and calendar
- Organize photos and content collected by front line staff
- Work with relevant community partners or complementary brands to grow NNP’s social following organically
- Create successful social media campaigns that will generate community engagement and fundraising opportunities
- Track key social media analytics
- Any other related duties as assigned by the Program Manager (supplementary tasks may include designing marketing posters, videos, email tag lines and website support) *extra hours available for these projects.
Requirements:
- Excellent written communication skills and ability to adapt copy to fit different platforms
- Strength in graphic design – can work with photoshop, canva etc.
- Basic understanding of social media trends and analytics
- Ability to work closely with front line staff
- Customer service focused
- French is considered an asset
Hours of Work:
- Fee for service, 10 hours/week, work from home
