Job Description

Wilkerson and Associates is looking to hire a part time support worker for a type 1 diabetic, cognitively disabled young man in Niagara Falls.

 

Hours of work:

• One afternoon per week excluding Tuesdays and Thursdays, minimum 4 hour shift, could be 5 on occasion.

Requirements:

• Special needs experience preferably with type 1 diabetes awareness
• Already employed elsewhere or enrolled in schooling with limited public contact
• To be paid twice monthly by Passport of MCSS
• Committed/dependable until at least September or October 2021
• Vehicle for transportation

Duties:

• Engage client with recreational activities such as basketball and driving range, skyzone, splash pads
• Assist with transition from one activity to another
• Encourage trips to washroom with assistance for hygiene
