We are looking for an energetic TRIM CARPENTER who takes pride in their work to join our family. 5 years’ experience is preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Valid G driver’s License
  • Valid Working at Heights – able to provide training card
  • 5 years’ as a Trim Carpenter in the new home building industry
  • Own tools and vehicle

KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES

  • Proven experience as a carpenter
  • Well organized
  • Cost and quality conscious
  • Ability to read blueprints and Drawings
  • Full ability to perform the physical functions

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • General carpentry from rough to finish
  • Installing and finish baseboard and trim
  • Back up framing for stairways, tubs, and after rough ins
  • Straighten studs before the installation of drywall
  • Correct any deficiencies prior to trim installation in both framing and drywall
  • Trim houses (i.e. millwork, custom shelving, cabinets, etc.)
  • Complete any interior or exterior framing deficiencies
  • Assist with any custom installation modifications (i.e. appliances, hood fans, etc.)
  • Install safety fences before and during an excavation
  • Framing of extra features in houses: decks, fences, front porch railings, installing feature vents
