Welder, TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas)

JOB DETAILS

Location: Port Colborne, ON
Salary: $22.00 to $26.00 HOUR hourly for 40 to 60 hours per week
Terms of employment: Permanent employment
Full time: Day, Overtime
Start date: Starts as soon as possible
Work Setting: Industrial

Languages

Education
No degree, certificate or diploma or equivalent experience

Experience
5 years or more

Specific Skills

  • Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment
  • Interpret welding process specifications
  • Operate oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air), (AOC)
  • Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
  • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment

Additional Skills

  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes
  • Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
