Job Description
Position: Welder (1 position)
Employer: Stelfab Niagara Inc.
Work Location: 8594 Earl Thomas Avenue, Niagara Falls, ON, L2G 0B6
Salary: $25 per hour for 40 hours per week, plus overtime
Main Requirements:
Must have experience with semi-automatic mig machines
Must have experience with bin welding light gauge material carbon steel and stainless steel
Start date: As soon as possible
Terms: Permanent employment, Full time
Work Hours: Day, Morning, Weekend, Overtime

Responsibilities and Tasks
Interpret welding process specifications
Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment
Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes
Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
Operate oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air), (AOC)
Determine weldability of materials
Operate hoisting and lifting equipment
Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment
