Independent Contractors
Established in 1995, Blinds Plus is seeking an experienced individuals to work as independent contractors for our custom window covering business in several sales areas across Ontario
- Niagara
- Barrie
- Toronto
- Hamilton
- London
You will provide clients with quality sales, installations, and consultations services
Qualifications
- Pervious retail sales experience in the window covering/furniture or supply industry and or a Graduate of an accredited Interior Design or Decorating School
- Good working knowledge of computer programs: Excel, Word,
- Deadline and detail – oriented
- Able to use tape measures and other measuring devices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Create & following up on individual or pre-booked sales leads
- Maintain client, vendor, and consultant relationships
- Plan, design choose custom window coverings for residential, commercial, or industrial properties
- Writing and submitting proposals to clients
- Formulate designs that are aesthetic and conducive to the client
- Calculate the specifications and costs of materials with an online ordering system
- Measuring
- Troubleshoot, arrange for any adjustments, repairs, or replacements
Remuneration: To be discussed
Training will be available to all successful candidates
