We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to be a part of our expanding Retail teams at some of Niagara’s best wineries; Lakeview Wine Co., Creekside Estate Winery and Queenston Mile Vineyard. Share your love of wine and food and passion for customer service in some the most beautiful and picturesque settings while enjoying the fun and energetic environment. Our Winery Sales Associates are responsible for consistent and outstanding hospitality service for all guests by providing a friendly, memorable, and informative visitor experience.
Responsibilities include:
Retail Sales
o Sell wine, including Wine Club memberships and related retail merchandise.
o Understand and operate POS system/cash register
o Conduct tastings and winery tours with energy and enthusiasm
o Perform store open and closing procedures
o Accurate cash handling, daily cash reconciliation.
Visitor Experience
o Welcome visitors to Lakeview Wine Co with sincerity and a positive attitude
o Understand the basics of wine and strive to become an ambassador of wine from Ontario (VQA).
o Ensure retail store and winery is clean and presentable to visitors
Merchandising
o Rotation of stock
o Count monthly inventory as scheduled
Qualifications:
o High regard for personal presentation
o Dependable & punctual
o Confident & motivated
o Excellent relationship building skills / Customer Service
o Ability to lift 30-45 pounds (a case of wine)
o Team player with a positive attitude
o Must have valid Smart Serve
Sales and/or hospitality experience is an asset but training specific to this position is provided.
You must be able to arrange your own transportation to and from work.
