This position will provide support and services to individuals and families impacted by brain injury, assisting them in accessing resources, developing coping strategies, and navigating their recovery journey. The ideal candidate will be committed to supporting the brain injury community in Fort Erie and surrounding areas.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"445\" data-end=\"951\"><strong data-start=\"209\" data-end=\"218\">Wage:<\/strong> $20.00\/hour<br data-start=\"230\" data-end=\"233\" \/><strong data-start=\"233\" data-end=\"243\">Hours:<\/strong> 20 hours per week<br data-start=\"261\" data-start=\"983\" data-end=\"1071\">Provide individual and group support to clients with brain injuries and their families<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1072\" data-end=\"1152\">\n<p data-start=\"1074\" data-end=\"1152\">Conduct assessments to identify client needs and develop tailored care plans<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1153\" data-end=\"1277\">\n<p data-start=\"1155\" data-end=\"1277\">Connect clients with community resources and services, including healthcare, rehabilitation, and social support programs<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1278\" data-end=\"1364\">\n<p data-start=\"1280\" data-end=\"1364\">Provide advocacy and ensure clients\u2019 voices are heard in decision-making processes<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1365\" data-end=\"1474\">\n<p data-start=\"1367\" data-end=\"1474\">Assist in the facilitation of educational programs and workshops for clients, families, and the community<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1475\" data-end=\"1584\">\n<p data-start=\"1477\" data-end=\"1584\">Maintain confidential client records and case notes in compliance with organizational and legal standards<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1585\" data-end=\"1675\">\n<p data-start=\"1587\" data-end=\"1675\">Conduct home visits and community outreach as needed within the Greater Fort Erie area<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1676\" data-end=\"1775\">\n<p data-start=\"1678\" data-end=\"1775\">Assist with programs and contribute to the growth of the Brain Injury Association\u2019s initiatives<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1777\" data-end=\"1798\"><strong data-start=\"1777\" data-end=\"1796\">Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1799\" data-end=\"2343\">\n<li data-start=\"1799\" data-end=\"1873\">\n<p data-start=\"1801\" data-end=\"1873\">Valid driver\u2019s license and access to reliable, personal transportation<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1874\" data-end=\"1952\">\n<p data-start=\"1876\" data-end=\"1952\">Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant computer software<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1953\" data-end=\"2044\">\n<p data-start=\"1955\" data-end=\"2044\">Knowledge of the Greater Fort Erie area and the available community resources is a must<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2045\" data-end=\"2159\">\n<p data-start=\"2047\" data-end=\"2159\">Previous experience working with individuals affected by brain injury or in a social work setting is preferred<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2160\" data-end=\"2231\">\n<p data-start=\"2162\" data-end=\"2231\">Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2232\" data-end=\"2343\">\n<p data-start=\"2234\" data-end=\"2343\">Empathy, patience, and a strong commitment to supporting individuals with brain injuries and their families<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"2345\"
