Responsible for student case management, program\/life skills facilitation, academic support and performing additional supportive duties as designated.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Qualifications:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>ECE Certification, Social Work Diploma or related field of study.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 2 years\u2019 experience working with children ages 7 \u2013 18.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working in the indigenous community.<\/li>\n<li>Non-Violent Crisis Intervention and Suicide Prevention certification, an asset.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Knowledge of the social barriers faced by urban Indigenous children and youth<\/li>\n<li>Skills and abilities related to case management practices including case notes<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills both verbal and written<\/li>\n<li>Ability, and willingness, to work alongside the teachers and Cultural Resource Coordinator<\/li>\n<li>Ability to perform administrative duties<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated abilities in group facilitation<\/li>\n<li>Skill and ability to use various behavioral strategies<\/li>\n<li>Ability to network and work collaboratively with other agencies<\/li>\n<li>Ability to build rapport with youth<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4>Requirements:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Copy of driver license, insurance and driver\u2019s abstract, upon employment<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to provide a clear CPIC &#8211; Vulnerable Sector, upon employment.<\/li>\n<li>Copy of Diploma and related training certificates, upon employment<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4>To Apply:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Please send Cover Letter and Resume to: <a href=\"mailto:human.resource@nrnc\">human.resource@nrnc<\/a> or <a href=\"mailto:careers@nrnc.ca\">careers@nrnc.ca<\/a><\/li>\n<li><em>Internal applicants will be interviewed first<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Bill 149: Disclosure of AI use in hiring process:\u00a0<\/strong>AI, is not being used in the hiring process<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Pursuant to Section 24 of the Ontario Human Rights Code (the Code), this position will give preference to applicants who identify as a member of an Indigenous community (First Nations, M\u00e9tis and Inuit peoples).
