OWL facilitates Import\/Export and Logistics of transportation assets around the Globe utilizing Over-the-Road, Rail and Ocean Freight for many clients world-wide.<\/p>\n

Position:<\/strong> AZ Long-Haul Driver – Full-time
\nJob Location:<\/strong> London & Niagara region, Ontario Terminal(s)
\nStart Date:<\/strong> ASAP
\nNow hiring reliable and skilled Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting new transportation assets safely and efficiently. This position requires a good understanding of truck operation, adherence to US and Canadian safety regulations, international border crossings, and the ability to use E-log software. Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries working with a dedicated dispatch team, all the while maintaining the highest standards of service.<\/p>\n

Compensation:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Compensation range:<\/strong> $8,000 to $13,000+ monthly (depending on experience, load fulfilment and location);
\nBenefits:<\/strong> Immediate full benefits plan, including: Medical, Dental, Optical, etc at 100% coverage plus life insurance and out-of-country medical insurance<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00b7 Conduct pre and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers to ensure they are in good working condition, and very basic maintenance tasks such as checking fluid levels and topping-up if required
\n\u00b7 Log all necessary remarks including fuel purchases
\n\u00b7 Operate truck safely and efficiently to transport trailers to designated locations
\n\u00b7 Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations
\n\u00b7 Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road
\n\u00b7 Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding deliveries and other such tasks.<\/p>\n

Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00b7 AZ or Class 1 license with a clean drivers abstract. Abstract required with resume when applying.
\n\u00b7 Minimum 5 years verifiable commercial driving experience in North America
\n\u00b7 Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
\n\u00b7 Ability to work independently or as part of a team
\n\u00b7 Exceptional organizational skills. Organizing and remitting paperwork.
\n\u00b7 Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
\n\u00b7 Self-motivated attitude
\n\u00b7 Strong work ethic
\n\u00b7 Ability to maintain a positive demeanor in difficult situations
\n\u00b7 Must be fluent in English. French fluency is a major asset<\/p>\n
