Employment Professionals Canada is currently hiring 4 Production Welders<\/strong> for a full-time contract opportunity in a manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for candidates with welding experience, training, or certification who are comfortable working in a physically demanding, safety-focused setting.<\/p>\n

    • Shift Schedule:<\/strong> Weekly rotating shifts\n

      • 6:30 AM \u2013 2:30 PM (Days)<\/li>\n
      • 2:30 PM \u2013 10:30 PM (Afternoons)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
      • Overtime:<\/strong> After 8 hours\/day\n

        • Saturdays: Time and a half<\/li>\n

          Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n
            \n
          • Select appropriate rebar based on specifications (quantity, length, and gauge)<\/li>\n
          • Measure and position materials using tools such as tape measures, straight edges, laser sights, and jigs<\/li>\n
          • Perform welding and tack welding of rebar<\/li>\n
          • Reload welding wire and maintain weld tips to ensure consistent quality<\/li>\n
          • Operate overhead crane (once certified)<\/li>\n
          • Inspect materials and equipment for defects or faults<\/li>\n
          • Rework defective materials, repack, and dispose of scrap as required<\/li>\n
          • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area<\/li>\n
          • Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and machine guarding<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            Qualifications & Requirements<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n
              \n
            • Welding experience, education, or valid tickets (any combination accepted)<\/li>\n
            • Ability to read and interpret blueprints<\/li>\n
            • Physically capable of repeated standing, walking, bending, and lifting (up to 50 lbs)<\/li>\n
            • Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment<\/li>\n
            • Ability to work rotating shifts (days and afternoons)<\/li>\n
            • Strong attention to safety and detail<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              • Must complete a pre-employment medical (including drug testing)<\/strong><\/li>\n
