BUILDING ADMINISTRATOR (PART-TIME)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Beachcombers Seniors Centre is a 550+ member organization run by and for seniors to encourage community involvement and a dynamic\/healthy environment.<\/p>\n

We are currently seeking an Administrator for a part-time contract position. This position will be approximately 35 hours\/month. Experience working with non-profit\/charitable organizations would be a definite asset.<\/p>\n

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Oversee opening and closing of club, in person or through designates<\/p>\n

On call for alarm company 24\/7<\/p>\n

Liase with co-ordinators\/instructors and event primes for scheduling and set-up purposes<\/p>\n

Prepare monthly activity calendar and newsletter (can be completed by volunteer from provided information)<\/p>\n

Supervise Building Assistant<\/p>\n

Handles purchasing of supplies within set parameters<\/p>\n

Oversees storage and tracking of all supplies and material donations<\/p>\n

Maintains inventory list of all property\/leases contracts and replacement costs.<\/p>\n

Ensure all necessary insurances are in effect.<\/p>\n

Ensures building premises and equipment are clean and in good working order.\u00a0\u00a0 Seeks quotes for major repair\/replacement items<\/p>\n

Ensures all access ways to building are free and clear of impediments at all times. Takes necessary remedial actions.<\/p>\n

A vulnerable sector police check will be required.\u00a0 First aid\/CPR training would be an asset.<\/p>\n
