{"id":172760,"date":"2026-05-20T08:58:53","date_gmt":"2026-05-20T12:58:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.jobgym.com\/jobboard\/?post_type=job_listing&#038;p=172760"},"modified":"2026-05-20T09:04:36","modified_gmt":"2026-05-20T13:04:36","slug":"personal-support-worker-community","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/www.jobgym.com\/jobboard\/job\/personal-support-worker-community\/","title":{"rendered":"Personal Support Worker- Community"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Personal Support Worker- Community<\/h3>\n<h4>Market Therapy Group<\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hours of Work:<\/strong> 12 to 25 per week<\/p>\n<p><strong>Number of Vacancies:<\/strong> 3<\/p>\n<p>Market Therapy Group is seeking compassionate, reliable, and motivated PSWs who are passionate about providing high-quality community-based support to individuals with complex rehabilitation and personal care needs.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.markettherapygroup.com\">www.markettherapygroup.com<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Personal Support Worker (PSW) Certificate from a recognized program<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 5 years\u2019 experience working as a PSW<\/li>\n<li>Experience supporting individuals with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) is considered a strong asset<\/li>\n<li>Valid Vulnerable Sector Police Clearance<\/li>\n<li>Reliable vehicle and valid driver\u2019s licence required (community-based role)<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Positive, compassionate, and professional attitude<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively<\/li>\n<li>Strong organizational and documentation skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Duties:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide personal care assistance including hygiene, dressing, grooming, toileting, and shower routines<\/li>\n<li>Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) in accordance with care plans<\/li>\n<li>Support clients within the home environment, including laundry, bed making, light housekeeping, and meal preparation as required<\/li>\n<li>Promote client independence, dignity, and community participation<\/li>\n<li>Complete daily documentation and report client progress, concerns, or changes in condition to the clinical team<\/li>\n<li>Follow established care plans, safety protocols, and rehabilitation strategies<\/li>\n<li>Communicate effectively with clients, families, therapists, and team members<\/li>\n<li>Travel to client homes and community settings as required<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a professional, respectful, and client-centered approach at all time<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Please send your resume with current availability to <a href=\"mailto:info@markettherapygroup.com\">info@markettherapygroup.com<\/a>.
