{"id":172532,"date":"2026-01-08T13:12:35","date_gmt":"2026-01-08T18:12:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.jobgym.com\/jobboard\/?page_id=172532"},"modified":"2026-01-28T10:38:16","modified_gmt":"2026-01-28T15:38:16","slug":"fraudulent-job-posting-policy","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.jobgym.com\/jobboard\/fraudulent-job-posting-policy\/","title":{"rendered":"Fraudulent Job Posting Policy"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Fraudulent Job Posting Policy<\/h1>\n<p>Job Gym is committed to maintaining a safe, trustworthy environment for job seekers and employers.<\/p>\n<p>While Job Gym reviews job information before it is shared publicly, we encourage users to report any job postings they believe may be fraudulent, misleading, or suspicious.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>What is a fraudulent job posting?<\/h3>\n<p>A fraudulent job posting may include, but is not limited to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Requests for payment, financial information, or personal banking details<\/li>\n<li>Misrepresentation of the employer, role, or compensation<\/li>\n<li>Job offers that appear deceptive, misleading, or inconsistent with normal hiring practices<\/li>\n<li>Any posting that raises concerns about legitimacy or intent<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>How to report a suspected fraudulent posting<\/h3>\n<p>If you believe a job posting may be fraudulent, please email Job Gym at <strong><a href=\"mailto:employers@jhs-niagara.ca\">employers@jhs-niagara.ca<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When reporting, please include as much detail as possible so we can review the concern effectively.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>How Job Gym addresses reports<\/h3>\n<p>Reports of suspected fraudulent job postings are reviewed by Job Gym staff. Where appropriate, Job Gym may:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Remove or withhold the posting<\/li>\n<li>Contact the employer for clarification<\/li>\n<li>Take additional steps to protect job seekers and maintain platform integrity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Policy retention<\/h3>\n<p>In accordance with Ontario regulations, Job Gym retains copies of this policy for a minimum of three (3) years after it is no longer in effect.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Fraudulent Job Posting Policy Job Gym is committed to maintaining a safe, trustworthy environment for job seekers and employers.
