Sales and Marketing Position
THE ROLE
The primary function of this role is to promote our product, Fiddleheads. The candidate will be responsible for connecting with retailers and restaurants. This is a full time, temporary contract position that will conclude at the end of fiddlehead season in May or June. Hours are Monday to Friday, day shift.
- Sales and marketing tasks such as: completing field research; emailing and targeting restaurants, chefs, colleges; connecting with health food and grocery stores; sending emails or communicating through phone; connecting with media, newspaper, magazines, TV, blogging, facebook, twitter; overall, enhancing the visibility of NorCliff Farms and our products
- General office tasks include: answering phones; filing; understanding and using computers software programs such as excel and outlook; practicing good command of the English language in communicating with office team, potential customers and business associates.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are willing to train the ambitious new employee
Strong customer service and sales skills
Intermediate computer skills
Previous experience in an office or sales position is preferred
Relevant post-secondary education is an asset
Reliable transportation to work location
