Full-Time Equipment Operator- Snow Removal (Multiple Positions)
Job Description
Bosma Landscape Service is grounds maintenance and landscape design company nestled in the heart of Niagara Wine Country. We are currently seeking individuals with a positive attitude and strong work ethic to join our snow removal division.
What will you be doing?
- Responsible for completing snow removal routes at various industrial, commercial and private residents as it pertains to parking lots, driveways and roadways
- Operate various pieces of equipment such as: tractors, MTs, salters, trucks with plows, etc.
- Complete pre-trip inspections and other company related documentation
- Work alongside a team of experienced individuals
- Candidates must be available to be on-call throughout the winter season
What are we looking for?
- A minimum of 2+ years’ experience operating various pieces of equipment as it pertains to snow removal is required
- Previous experience clearing snow in the landscaping industry is an asset
- Working mechanical knowledge of equipment is a strong asset
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
- Safe & competent operator with a minimum and valid Class G drivers abstract
- Candidate must be reliable
- Candidate must be able to be on-call
- Strong communication skills
- Must be able to work in adverse road and weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to yard/stored equipment is required
