This is a full-time, on-site role located in Niagara Falls, ON. As a Shop sheet metal apprentice, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks related to sheet metal fabrication. You will work under the guidance of experienced professionals to learn and develop your skills in the field of sheet metal work.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings and specifications to determine job requirements.
• Operate fabricating machines such as shears, brakes, presses, forming rolls, CNC plasma table.
• Assemble and fit metal sections to form complete fittings.
• Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to customer specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic understanding of sheet metal fabrication techniques
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Strong mathematical and measurement skills
• Physical dexterity and ability to work in a physically demanding environment
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions
• Previous experience in sheet metal work or related field is a plus.
