Full-Time Drywall Labour – Entry Level Apprentice

About the Opportunity
This is a full time, permanent position that will start as a Labour role and have potential to grow to an Apprentice. Hours are typically Monday to Friday from 7am to 4pm. We offer a competitive compensation rate.
The purpose of this position is to support senior colleagues, apprentices and tradespersons, with drywalling duties. This person will focus on site set up and clean up, moving materials and other general labour functions.
Requirements
- Must have some kind of experience in a labour role that involved physical tasks and working in construction settings (does not need to be specifically within drywalling)
- Drywalling knowledge, experience or training is an asset
- Own reliable transportation
- Must have genuine interest in learning the drywall finishing trade
- Strong work ethic
- Punctual and reliable
- Able to cope with fast paced environment
- Willingness and openness to learning and coaching
- Basic knowledge of tools
- Good dexterity
- Physically capable of heavy, demanding tasks
