Job Description

Express Employment Professionals is recruiting fabricators and labourers to join a large industrial manufacturing facility in St. Catharines.  This is a full-time opportunity with training and room for growth.  Our client is looking for those with experience in sheet metal fabricating and metal manufacturing, someone who likes a variety of job duties through the day and assisting a team of welders and labourers to meet job specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting a crew in the manufacturing and finishing of prefabricated e-houses
  • Cutting and assembling metal materials
  • Fabricating sheet metal parts and pieces
  • Fitting metal together, fastening, placing materials out for Welders
  • Preparing metal surfaces
  • Blueprint and Shop Drawing interpretation
  • Use of small hand tools and power tools

Skills for Success

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to interpret Blueprints, schematics and shop drawings
  • 1-2 years of experience with metal and steel fabricating
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively

Schedule

  • Monday – Friday
  • 7:00am – 3:30pm
  • Opportunities for Overtime

Wages

  • $18.00 – $19.00/hour
