As we continue to expand, we are currently seeking an Office Assistant to join our dynamic team.
Office Assistant Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or office.
- Answer and direct incoming calls to the appropriate person or office.
- Reply to emails in a timely manner
- Ensure a tidy and well-organized office space.
- Provide administrative support to staff members.
- Assist with filing, data entry, and other administrative tasks as needed.
- Monitor office supplies and place orders when necessary.
- Schedule meetings and appointments.
- Assist with scheduling employees for events.
- Aid in the preparation of BEO (Banquet Event Orders).
- Collaborate closely with the Office Administrator to ensure smooth operations.
Background Experience and Requirements:
- A High School Diploma or an equivalent qualification, along with at least 2-5 years of experience in banquet and conference facilities, is an asset.
- Proficiency with Office 365.
- Knowledge of Clover POS preferred.
- Knowledge of QuickBooks preferred.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are essential.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 24-40 per week
Flexible working hours. This position requires evening and weekend flexibility.
License/Certification:
- Smart Serve Certification (preferred)
