Fraudulent Job Posting Policy
Job Gym is committed to maintaining a safe, trustworthy environment for job seekers and employers.
While Job Gym reviews job information before it is shared publicly, we encourage users to report any job postings they believe may be fraudulent, misleading, or suspicious.
What is a fraudulent job posting?
A fraudulent job posting may include, but is not limited to:
- Requests for payment, financial information, or personal banking details
- Misrepresentation of the employer, role, or compensation
- Job offers that appear deceptive, misleading, or inconsistent with normal hiring practices
- Any posting that raises concerns about legitimacy or intent
How to report a suspected fraudulent posting
If you believe a job posting may be fraudulent, please report it using the “Report a fraudulent job posting” link available on the Job Gym website.
When reporting, please include as much detail as possible so we can review the concern effectively.
How Job Gym addresses reports
Reports of suspected fraudulent job postings are reviewed by Job Gym staff. Where appropriate, Job Gym may:
- Remove or withhold the posting
- Contact the employer for clarification
- Take additional steps to protect job seekers and maintain platform integrity
Policy retention
In accordance with Ontario regulations, Job Gym retains copies of this policy for a minimum of three (3) years after it is no longer in effect.
