Full-Time Administrative Assistant (1 Year Maternity Leave Contract) (1 Position)
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Answering telephones
- Scheduling client appointments
- Greeting clients
- Inputting information into ACT Database
- Miscellaneous typing/letter drafting
- Invoicing/Paperwork
- Keeping the office clean and presentable
- Coordinating/locating client shoes
- Liaison between Pedco and Suppliers
- Liaison between Pedco and Insurance Companies
- Maintaining a safe and hazard free orthotic manufacturing lab.
- Keeping records up to date and maintaining supply inventory
- Other misc. duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Minimum education: College Diploma or Administrative Certificate
- Experience in a office setting is an asset
- Ability to work in a fast paced work environment
- Organization and time management skills
- Well honed communication skills: verbal, written and listening skills
- Familiarization with ACT database software is an asset
- Able to work flexible hours: Mon-Weds 9:30am -5:00pm, Thurs 9:30am – 7:30pm, and Fri 9:30am -2:30pm.
