Full-Time Administrative Assistant (1 Year Maternity Leave Contract) (1 Position)

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Answering telephones
  • Scheduling client appointments
  • Greeting clients
  • Inputting information into ACT Database
  • Miscellaneous typing/letter drafting
  • Invoicing/Paperwork
  • Keeping the office clean and presentable
  • Coordinating/locating client shoes
  • Liaison between Pedco and Suppliers
  • Liaison between Pedco and Insurance Companies
  • Maintaining a safe and hazard free orthotic manufacturing lab.
  • Keeping records up to date and maintaining supply inventory
  • Other misc. duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Minimum education: College Diploma or Administrative Certificate
  • Experience in a office setting is an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast paced work environment
  • Organization and time management skills
  • Well honed communication skills: verbal, written and listening skills
  • Familiarization with ACT database software is an asset
  • Able to work flexible hours: Mon-Weds 9:30am -5:00pm, Thurs 9:30am – 7:30pm, and Fri 9:30am -2:30pm.
