Inspired by the soulful cuisine of New Orleans, Chef Elton Lammie has created delicious Cajun Creole style home-cooked food that is prepared fresh daily.
Elton is an award-winning singer and musician who has combined his love of music and New Orleans style food.
The Big Easy Cookshack and Creamery is looking for a cook to join their team!
Are you passionate and creative when it comes to food? Are you looking to break into the hospitality industry? Do you want a job where you don’t have to work early mornings? If so, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
Responsibilities include:
- Making menu items according to recipes and with the guidance of the chef
- Prepare all food items for the day
- Operate kitchen tools and appliance, such as fryers and grills, with confidence and ease
- Maintain and clean and safe work environment
Requirements:
- Experience is and asset, however it is not required. We’re willing to train!
- Passion for food and the hospitality industry
- A desire to create and cook delicious food to make customers happy
- Must have Food Safety Certification
- Must be available between the hours of 1-9pm
