POSITION: COOK – PART-TIME
HOURS OF WORK: The normal hours of work are not less than sixteen (16) as scheduled in each pay period. Hours of work include one hour unpaid lunch period. Shift: 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
- Secondary school graduate or equivalent, additional training in Dietary services or equivalent experience is an asset.
- Valid CPR/First Aid Certificate and recent WHMIS training.
- Must possess knowledge of current health standards and regulations as per current Public Health Department Guidelines
Previous experience in meal preparation for large groups. Ability to prepare meals with consideration given to special diets and diet restrictions. Proven consistency in work performance, work habits such as reliability, dependability and punctuality. Good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills including the ability to work effectively with all team members. Ability to maintain accurate records and inventory of supplies.
