The Buffalo and Fort Erie Public Bridge Authority operates the Peace Bridge, a public benefit corporation governed by a bi-national Board of Directors and chartered by New York State, with consent of the United States

tourism. We are the second largest border crossing between the United States and Canada with approximately six million vehicles crossing the border on an annual basis.

We are currently recruiting for one Canadian Full-Time Maintenance 2 position.
If you have a minimum of a high school diploma with a valid DZ license, proven mechanical, electrical, plumbing and carpentry skills, a minimum of five (5) years’ experience performing a variety of maintenance and repair work, including commercial buildings, vehicles, equipment and roadways while operating heavy motorized vehicles and maintenance machinery, we would like to hear from you.
This unionized position’s remuneration and benefit entitlements are in accordance with the Teamsters Local 879 collective agreement. The 2021 hourly rate of pay is $26.63, forty (40) hours per week and the schedule is typically Monday to Friday 6:45 a.m. – 2:45 p.m. in addition to overtime and rotational on call as required.
The Maintenance 2 position schedule is subject to change from time to time as determined by management, including implementation of winter control schedule.

This position is conditional upon and maintenance of international border crossing identification and security clearance from U.S. and Canadian border security agencies in addition to maintaining a valid Nexus card with the
