Full-Time Industrial Janitor (1 Position)
Job Description
Industrial steel pipe producer is looking for an Industrial Janitor to perform site upkeep..
Janitors and caretakers perform some or all of the following duties:
- Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse
- Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings
- Empty trash cans and other waste containers
- Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs
- Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
- Cut grass and tend grounds
- Clean and disinfect washrooms and fixtures
- Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilating, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs
- Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
- May move heavy equipment and supplies
- Ensure that security and safety measures are in place in the establishment
Must be able to work rotating shifts, between days and nights. 8 hour shifts rotate weekly.
Candidates must also be bondable.
Must have own transportation as this position is not on a public transit route.
Wage: $16.16/hr(Days), $16.55/hr (Afternoons) and $16.65/hr (Nights), overtime after 40hrs.
