Full-Time Order Processor (1 Position)
Job Description
This is a full-time permanent position with Pioneer Flower Farms Limited, a large floral greenhouse in St Catharines, Ontario. We are currently looking for an order processor and customs administrator. This person must have the ability to be organized, learn quickly and prioritize the many tasks this position demands.
Responsibilities:
- Generating outbound shipping documents including customs paperwork, bill of ladings, invoices, barcodes and shipping labels for Canadian and US shipments in a dynamic environment
- Gathering, reviewing and processing customers sales orders using a ERP system
- Working as a team with the sales and production departments to ensure all orders are accurate and arrive on time
- Working with carriers and customs brokerage to obtain necessary information for cross border shipments
- Preparing daily trucking logs and booking delivery appointments
- Maintaining accurate files for government compliance for shipping flowers to the US
- Maintaining customer files and purchase orders
Qualifications:
- Ability to multi task and perform in a very busy work environment
- Ability to prioritize
- Must work well independently and as a contributing team member
- Good Excel skills required
- Highly organized with capacity for attention to detail
- Excellent memory skills
- Access to reliable transportation (public transit not available)
- Crystal Reports and Nice Label knowledge beneficial but not necessary
The successful candidate must be willing to work overtime and Saturdays during our peak season (March/April). This is a fantastic entry level opportunity. We encourage recent business and administration grads to apply.
