Servo Motor & Electronics Technician

We are looking for a resourceful, energetic problem solver that can work efficiently both individually or in a team setting. The potential candidate must be passionate about their work and the industry and want to grow with our company.
The servo motor & electronics tech will have a minimum of 8-10 years experience and be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing and testing industrial servo motors and electronic devices such as drives, power supplies & controllers. Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley, Rexroth, ABB, Yaskawa and other top brands that we heavily support would also be an asset. Experience with the analysis and specification of parts that are worn, damaged or not functioning is also mandatory.
The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded individual with an educational background in industrial controls, automation or robotics. Preference will be given to electrical and mechanical technicians, technologists and engineers. Experience in industrial controls repair, and servo motor repair is needed.

Duties Include:
• Testing, Repairing and refurbishing industrial servo motors
• Testing, Repairing and refurbishing industrial electronics as needed
• Trouble shooting industrial automation equipment
Requirements:
• Must have valid G class drivers license
• Must have minimum 8-10 years of combined schooling & job experience
• Experience with Fanuc, Siemens, ABB, Yaskawa & Allen Bradley
• Experience using Mitchel Electronics repair system for servo motors
• Experience replacing bearings & seals on wide range of servo motors & spindles
• Experience building test stands and setups
• Ability to read electrical schematics
• Ability to work in fast paced environment
• Organized and punctual with fine attention to detail
Additional Skills that would be an asset:
• AutoCAD experience & ability to produce electrical schematics
• PLC setup & programming experience
• Experience with CNC’s
• Computer programming experience
• Industrial robotic programming or repair experience
• Additional languages an asset
