Seasonal Valet Dispatcher (1 Position)

Job Description

Areas of Responsibility:

  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests using their name when possible, anticipate and address guests; service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
  • Coordinate the parking and retrieving of guests vehicles while keeping track of keys.
  • Ensure tags on keys have all information, including location and ticket number.
  • Responsible for communicating with valet attendants, in communication log book.
  • Maintain a clean working environment; ensuring valet window and booth is tidy.
  • Communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors.
  • Supply guests with directions.
  • Arrange transportation (e.g. taxi cab) for guests/visitors.
  • Maintain awareness of undesirable persons on property premises.
  • Assist with luggage storage and retrieval when required.
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language.
  • Compliance with all safety regulations and assigned tasks, and ensure a clean and safe working environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Valid Ontario Driver’s License and clean driver’s abstract.
  • Able to read and write English
  • Ability to multi-task and organize time effectively and efficiently.

Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Required to move, lift, carry, pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Stand and walk for an extended period of time or for the entire shift.
  • Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
  • Move over sloping, uneven or slippery surfaces.
