Full-Time Production Associates – Salit Steel (1 Position)
Job Description
Express Employment Professionals is hiring a team of Production Associates to join the dynamic team at Salit Steel in Fort Erie. These are permanent, full time vacancies open to applicants with 2+years Production experience and great work ethic.
Duties Include:
- Order pick structural steel/rebar from the warehouse racks
- Machine Operation (including saws, torches, and shears)
- Feed and load processing machines
- Assist process control and machine operators
- Maintain a clean work area and equipment
- General labour and other duties as assigned
- Work in a safe and reliable manner while performing all designated tasks
Qualified? You have:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Previous experience working in an industrial environment/construction industry *asset
- Experience working with various hand/power tools, saws, torches, shears, machinery
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong measurement and mathematic skills
- Good written and oral communication skills
Wage: $19.25/hour
Shifts: Days, Nights and Afternoons (1-week Rotations)
