POSITION SUMMARY:
To provide quality attendant care services to adults with physical disabilities in activities of daily living, enabling them to live independently and to exercise basic rights concerning lifestyle choices.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Secondary school graduate or equivalent, additional training in health care (PSW certificate) or equivalent experience an asset.
- Valid CPR/First Aid Certificate and recent WHMIS training.
- Experience with adults with disabilities and experience providing personal care and knowledge of individuals care plans.
- Proven consistency in work performance, work habits such as reliability, dependability and punctuality.
- French is an asset.
- Good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills including the ability to work effectively with all team members.
