AZ Driver/Yard Driver

Wage: $26.65 per hour
Hours of Work: 40 per week
Requirements:
- Valid AZ License /Air brake (Z) endorsement
- Experience operating manual-transmission trucks, preferably with flatbed and steel hauling
- Commercial Vehicle Operator’s Registration (CVOR) Certificate
- Air Brake Adjustment Certificate
- Criminal record check, driving record check, medical exam, drug test
- Sound knowledge of safe driving practices
- Previous experience working in an industrial environment is an asset
- Previous experience in machine operation is preferred
Duties:
- Operate and drive manual-transmission straight and articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
- Haul structural and reinforcing steel on flatbed trailers
- Secure, tarp, and ensure the safety and stability of all cargo
- Inspect vehicle condition, including tires, lights, brakes, and load securement
- Monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness, reporting any issues promptly
- Complete and maintain accurate driver logbooks, inspection reports, and accident/incident reports
