Wage: $20.00 per hour

Hours: 40 per week

Requirements:

• Must have a mechanical aptitude
• Machining experience is strongly preferred
• CNC experience is an asset
• Must be able to lift repeatedly
• Basic proficiency with measuring tape
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, when required
• CSA-approved steel-toe boots
• Own reliable vehicle to Vineland (no public transit available)

Duties:

• Assist tradespersons, machine operators, and welders with production tasks
• Operate hand tools, brake presses, and drill presses
• Load, unload, and move materials using pump carts; sort and clean salvaged items
• Measure greenhouse parts for accurate drilling and assembly
• Pack orders and shrink-wrap skids for shipment
• Stack and organize lumber onto skids
• Remove rubble and debris to maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Machine operation will be a large part of this position
