Part-Time Junior Floral Assistant (1 Position)

Your duties and responsibilities will be:
-Providing excellent customer service for walk in customers
-Making simple wrapped flower bouquet presentations
-Plant care, and plant arrangement design
-Greening centrepieces, garlands, etc.
-Phone order taking
-Data/order computer entry
-Payment processing
-Assist with floral processing
-Sanitation of vessels
-Keeping the shop and work areas tidy and safe
-Assistance with preparing supplies, tools and containers for special events
-Assisting with off site event deliveries, setups, and teardowns
-Assisting with installation/merchandising design
-Picking-up/dropping off stock
This position may lead to a Floral designer position within the company.
Must maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and attitude at all times.
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
Must be available anytime between 9-5:30, Monday to Saturday, with extra hours at holidays and during wedding season.
15-20 hours/week.
