We are currently seeking a skilled Machine Operator for our client in Fort Erie. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery to ensure efficient production processes, as well as some welding duties. This is a full-time day shift position with opportunities for growth.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm

Wage: $19.50-$21.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor machines to ensure they are running smoothly and producing high-quality products
• Set up machines according to specifications and make necessary adjustments during operation
• Set up components and weld parts according to blueprints and drawings
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in optimal working condition
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
• Collaborate with team members and communicate any issues or concerns

Qualifications:

• Mechanical knowledge and aptitude for understanding machine operations
• Experience operating power tools, saws, drill press, belt sanders, band saws
• Experience in welding is a strong asset
• Familiarity with measuring tools, such as calipers, to ensure accurate dimensions
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings
• Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
