Job Description

Paul Davis of Niagara – Haldimand is a full service property restoration company helping families and businesses recover from property damage in the Niagara Region for more than 25 years.

We are seeking a new member to join our emergency mitigation team. The Restoration/Cleaning Technician is a front line role dedicated to customer service. The right candidate will be responsible for:

  • Following the proper mitigation process (Extraction of water, setup and monitoring equipment, application of antimicrobial)
  • Demolition work (Removing drywall, and flooring, and debris)
  • Cleaning/janitorial services
  • Content manipulation
  • Mould remediation for property damage projects
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • All other duties and responsibilities to accommodate The Perfect File

Often the job sites will be dirty, possibly hot or cold, wet and sometimes unsanitary.

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Prerequisites:

  • Customer focused with good interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication skills and able to work in a team environment
  • Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing and knowledge of weights and measures
  • Ability to lift 20 – 50lbs
  • Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment
  • G License

Hourly Full Time: Generally scheduled 40 Hours; more hours may be required based on the workload and in catastrophic situations. This position requires that you are available for an on-call rotation after hours and weekends for emergency services calls and work.

Applicants may be rejected if an interview or background check reveals that the applicant has been convicted of a felony or offense against property such as receipt of stolen property, larceny, embezzlement, burglary, or similar convictions.

Individuals with property restoration experience and IICRC certification is an asset, but not required.
