Full-Time Room Attendant
Job Description
POSTION OVERVIEW
As a Room Attendant – you’ll make sure our rooms and suites are always clean, tidy and welcoming for our guests.
Essential Job Functions
.Greeting guests and responding to queries
.Changing bed linen and making beds according to company standards
.Replacing used towels and other bathroom amenities, such as shampoo and soap
.Sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming carpets and dusting and polishing furniture
.Emptying trash containers
.Cleaning public areas, and high touch areas
.Reporting any technical issues and maintenance needs
.Updating status of guest rooms on assignment sheet
.Returning and restocking cleaning cart at shift end
.Log any lost and found property to assist with reuniting to its owner
.Working as part of a team and communicate effectively with other departments as per hotel procedures
QUALIFICATIONS
.Ability to be standing, bend and twist on a consistent basis
.Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull heavy objects
.Strong reading and writing and basic math skills
.Must be flexible, with the ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
.Must have hotel housekeeping experience
