Contract Temporary Chef/Cook – Chinese Food

Job Description

A Fort Erie facility is looking for an experienced Chef or Cook with extensive experience cooking authentic Chinese food for students. This position will be starting ASAP and will be a temporary position last approximately 1 to 6 weeks.

Job Responsibilities:

  • creating a daily menu plan
  • various prep work
  • cooking both meat and vegetable options
  • shutting down kitchen after shift

Job Requirements:

  • must have proven experience cooking authentic Chinese food
  • 3 years cooking experience
  • Safe food handling certificate
  • Culinary training and asset but not required
  • non-slip shoes required
  • must be able to start immediately
  • must be able to reliably commute to Fort Erie

Shifts: Mondays to Fridays, 9am to 6pm

Wage: $20/hr

Contract Length: 1 to 6 weeks, approximately
