Required Qualifications: We want you to join our team! We are looking to hire qualified arborists who recognize the value in Safe Tree’s mission to promote safe and reliable tree care. As a Safe Tree Arborist Appentice, you will be expected to have the following qualifications and be capable of accomplishing the following tasks:
- GED
- D License, Z designation an asset
- Professionalism, safety oriented, proven employee dedicated to developing your skills
- Mechanical troubleshooting: experience maintaining chainsaws, chippers and trucks an asset
- Experience working in proximity to hydro
- Transportation to work yard
Other assets:
- Knowledge of trees and the environment
- First Aid
- Other industry specific certificates (i.e. working at heights, chainsaw safety etc.)
- Book 7
- Any IHSA utility awareness training
- Any other arboriculture related training or experience
