Starbucks (Brock University location)

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional customer service in our busy coffee service environment.

SUMMARY: We are looking to recruit a full time Barista. The candidate must have some Barista experience. Café experience is preferred, Starbucks experience is an asset. Wage is $11.40 per hour. As a member of our Café Team, you will have a positive impact on sales and customer satisfaction through your passion for food and pride in your environment. You will also have a positive impact on business efficiency through inventory management and loss reduction. You will assist customers by providing information on products and services, addressing customers’ special needs and delivering to them a great finished product. You must be reliable and mature and be happy to work mornings!

DUTIES:

  • Provide immediate and undivided attention to each customer.
  • Follow through on all customer questions and requests.
  • Provide customers with consistent and exceptional service.
  • Keep the department and display areas clean and organized.
  • Product display, rotation and restocking.
  • Cleaning and sanitation.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Ability to follow instructions and procedures
  • Ability to sell proactively
  • Effective time management skills
  • Strong work ethic and integrity
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time •
  • Reliable transportation
  • MUST have some Barista experience
